How does that old pregnancy gender test go with the wedding ring? Are there more?

So ive heard that you tie a string to your wedding ring and dangle it over the pregnant ladys stomach. If it swings back and forth its one sex and if it swings in a circle its the other sex. Which is which?

Are there any other tests lol? We are just doing these for fun to see if they will match the ultra sound.

Back and forth is a boy, around in a circle is a girl.

You tie a string to your wedding ring and hold it over the belly. If it is a boy it will spin counterclockwise and if it is a girl it will spin clockwise. Some versions have a left/right swing as an indicator but I don’t know which is which. There are also the Chinese Birth charts, which base the sex on mothers age and month of conception. It was true for all of my moms 5 sisters and herself, and me.
