I plan on proposing to my gf during Christmas, and my plan is to place the wedding ring into a corny gift which I will personally give her. I would like to see her reaction when she sees the corny gift <chuckles> and her reaction when she sees the wedding ring.
We’ve been together for almost three years. I know she really wants this, and I can’t see myself living without her for the rest of my life.
My fiance bought me a everlon knot ring to propose with and we have been looking at wedding rings to compliment it. It has ,of course, the everlon knot on it and is white gold. The ring setting itself is pretty thin. If needed I can provide a picture for more help. Please give me any suggestions on ideas. Thanks!
i have skin asthma and i am opting to wear gloves on my wedding day to cover the allergies all over my hands. I’m not sure if it’s acceptable to put on the ring with gloves on? I don’t want to make a stitch at the side where i can take out my ring finger cos i don’t think it would look good on the pictures. Can someone help me out?

I’ve decided to just buy a cheaper engagement ring because it is only temporary and a nicer wedding ring, I can afford up to 10, 000 dollars but would prefer to get something for less.
Both my husband and i got gold wedding rings when we got married. We knew men are not permitted to wear gold, but we thought maybe a wedding ring would be an exception. But now im starting to think otherwise. Does anyone know the ruling on gold WEDDING rings in Islam? Should we get my husband a new, non gold wedding ring.
And just for the record – we dont wear them with superstitious thoughts or anything, its just to show other people (strangers) that we are married, i.e. unavailable!
I still have my wedding ring from my first marriage. I am remarried now. I don’t know what to do with it? I was thinking of selling it and putting the money I get into my daughter’s bank account ( she’s five years old). Others were telling me I should keep it and give it to her when she gets married, but our marriage ended in divorce. Does anyone have any other ideas? By the way, the ring is not in my house, I gave it to a relative of mine to hold on to.

It is a clip like thingy that is put inside the ring so it would decrease the ring’s size. Our wedding rings are somewhat like 2 sizes bigger so we are unable to wear them. I dont want to adjust them by cutting a part of it as it would damage its design. Thank you in advance to those who will take time to answer.

I found an absolutely BEAUTIFUL ring… I’m in love with it. but it’s an engagment ring… my fiance and I will be having a very small service when we get married (next march) and I was wondering if I can use an engagment right as my actual wedding band? Some spouses don’t wear their rings when they are married. For example, my friend’s dad doesn’t wear his wedding ring and his wife gets upset about it. He says, he doesn’t like jewelery. How would you react if your spouse didn’t wear their wedding ring? Do you care or would you not mind it?
I have a friend who was sad because her mother has stopped wearing her wedding ring. Her father died 2 years ago in a car accident. Should she stop wearing the ring and move on, or should she keep it on for respect of her children’s father? Lets not discuss the cost. I know that promise rings are generally cheaper but what if we got 2 rings that look similar and both cost k but one is marketed as promise ring and the other a wedding ring? are there small differences in the design im not aware of?
I’m not looking forward to the cost of the ring, the wedding, and all the other bills that come with this event but I do love this girl and this is going to happen. I’m thinking the average is about 6-10k for the ring. Is this too much? Too little? What does everyone think?
